Home arrow News arrow ESTONIA CONCERT TOUR November 2014

My concert tour and master-class in Estonia were definitely among the most happy and memorable experiences I ever had!!! It was organized by the Eesti Kontsert  state foundation in cooperation with the Fiesta de la Guitarra 2014 guitar festival . (fb: Fiesta de la Guitarra) The project began on Monday 3 November with my short lecture and master-class to the Estonian Academy of Theatre and Music , when I had the opportunity to share my ideas on music, guitar aesthetics and interpretation with talented and promising guitar students from all over Europe. A quite interesting experience indeed! On Tuesday 4 November I performed in the fabulous Tallinn Town Hall , the oldest town hall in the whole Baltic region and Scandinavia. More info here . On the next day, Wednesday 5 November I played in Tartu, Vanemuise Concert Hall , a majestic hall with great acoustics and a very versatile architectural design that can host equally well solo recitals, chamber ensembles and symphonic works of large proportions. My concert tour concluded on Thursday 6 November, with a performance in the beautiful Saka Manor, a renovated old castle with a nice atmosphere. I would like to cordially thank all amazing people involved in the project, especially Neeme Punder and Signe Kiis from Eesti Kontsert, and Prof. Heiki Matlik for their interest and support. The audience was incredible, full houses, nice atmosphere, incredible artists and colleagues I met there. Hope to see everybody again soon!
